This rim is designed to work in conjunction with a specific sprayskirt (available from Skirtworks in Friendsville, MD- They refer to it as the 'Whirld') – or, preferably, a drydeck (a drysuit top for the upper part of the skirt) that fits into a concave groove in the deck rendering an exceptionally dry ride and an elegant seamless transition from fiberglass to neoprene at the cockpit. Less turbulence, more control is the name of the game with this system- a better wing.
