Description
The REACTION surf kayak was designed for true high performance surfing in the ocean. At 7’5″ this surf kayak is one of the shortest, fastest, and most maneuverable kayaks available and in production today. The ability of this surf kayak to attain true top-to-bottom surfing while retaining speed to accomplish the next maneuver is all part of its design. Speed is the key to any successful surf maneuver and that was the main goal with the design of this kayak. The surf kayak is very user friendly, comfortable, and no more designed for experts than it is for beginners. The REACTION is at the pinnacle of surf kayak design.

My goal has always been to produce a better surf kayak that was available in production. My designs have built upon what I have learned while working with designers like Mike Johnson, Steve Boehne and Randy Phillips and all surf kayak design is really about learning what works and evolving that. What is built into each kayak is the element of speed. Without that, you have nothing…no manuerver is done without speed. That really is first and foremost on my mind. There is more but too much to go into here!
I am truly happy that I have had a lot of support for the designs I have completed to date. From friends and family, to the customers, and of course, the best manufacturer in the World.
